Job Description: We are looking for a product Manager (Cyber Security) to join Airbus Defence & Space, either based out of Stevenage or Newport. You will be joining the Information and Digital Technology Specialists team and report to The Applications ManagerWe have two openings due to exciting projects being brought on that need product managers to oversee these from implementation to general day to day management
You may have previously worked as a service technician, cybersecurity technician or may even be looking to kick start your career after graduating in a related field; whatever your level of experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to get on board with one of the most recognised companies in the world! Please be advised you will need to be eligible to gain UK SC Security Clearance. Taks and Accountabilities: Airbus Defence is implementing the program RACES ( Reach AD Cyber Enhanced Security) to address the main Cyber Security Threats that are putting the business at risk.
The main goal of the position is to increase the level of AD resilience against major cybersecurity threats The project will tackle short to long term targets: Recover from a highly risky situation to an acceptable one in a phased approach based on priorities; this phased approach is planned over 4 years and a priority management will allow to define intermediate targets in this period Ensure adequate organizational and resource evolutions to guarantee sustainability in the long term; once reached, the adequate level of protection from CyberSecurity threats will have to be maintained in the long term proves the value of new technologies to establish business cases. Updates the company guidelines and policies regarding the use of a specific technology or methodology. Drives the update of the learning framework based on the known technology. Advises on specific topics related to the technology and/or methodology. Monitors technology and/or methodology trends and support the teams to apply these within the Airbus Environment. Guides and supports the selection of the appropriate technologies and/or methodologies. Monitors technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise's competitive edge. Able to make recommendations for buy versus build decisions. This role will involve frequent travel for business to other sites in the UK and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. Skills and Experience: You will ideally have an IT related degree or higher education qualification such as a HNC and have previous experience working within cybersecurity
Possesses a deep transferable knowledge of new and emerging technologies, including ability to autonomously develop POCs and to contribute future IT strategies and standards.
