A Software Development Engineer is sought by this leading chip manufacturer to be based at their R+D Centre in Munich. The Software Development Engineer will be responsible for the development (in Python and Java) of high-quality software and for quality, testing and characterisation of this software. The Software Development Engineer will be working with teams of Hardware, Software and Digital Design Engineers ensuring the quality of this organisations industry-leading memory chips. The Software Development Engineer will also be responsible for architecting, developing, testing and optimising software applications used to perform characterisation measurements on ATE including extracting meaningful data. You will be an experienced Software Engineer with a real interest in emerging semiconductor technology. Your skills will include hands on development using some of the following: Java, Python, Spring Framework, CSS, JavaScript, SQL/NoSQL databases, SVN or Git. You will have developed and executed test cases and have some exposure to interpreting the resulting data. Any exposure to, or interest in, data analytics, electronic circuits, characterisation measurements or semiconductor devices will also be beneficial. Candidates need to be already based in the EU, happy to relocate to Munich and be fully authorised to work in the EU.
