We're hiring for two Senior Infrastructure Engineers based in Exeter HQ with hybrid remote working.

As our Senior Infrastructure Engineer , your starting salary will be £30932.00 and you will have opportunities to progress to £33925.00 over time.

Your total reward package is potentially worth up to £46536.00 annually, which includes basic salary, RRA, potential corporate bonus and employer pension contributions.

You will receive a Recruitment Retention Allowance (RRA) of £2500.00 per annum paid quarterly, pro-rated from the date of taking up the appointment This role will qualify for an RRA allowance from 1st April 2022 to 31st March 2024.

Job Purpose

As our Senior Infrastructure Engineer , you will join our Technology Digital Workplace team and the team has an exciting few years ahead! Our Digital Workplace team provide many of the typical IT services you'd expect from an internal IT department. These include a mixture of on-premises and cloud hosted solutions. Following a recent investment the team is looking to exploit and provide many of the benefits associated with Microsoft 365 E5, this includes:

Cloud transformation: migrating away from on-premises Skype to Microsoft Teams for voice calling

Supercomputing2020: working with our partner Microsoft, to deliver our identity service for the next generation supercomputer hosted in Azure

We have excellent access to development opportunities such as the Enterprise Skills Initiative which has interactive courses, training and discounted/free exams to sharpen technical skills and knowledge of Microsoft solutions.

Essential Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

Experience and technical knowledge of implementing and managing IT services with Microsoft Windows Client and Server operating systems

Technical knowledge and awareness of cloud services such as Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 Enterprise:

Microsoft Teams, Voice - Teams Phone and PSTN connectivity

Defender for Endpoint/Identity/Office 365

SharePoint, Azure Active Directory, Endpoint Manager

Experience and technical knowledge of using PowerShell to automate processes and remotely administer and troubleshoot endpoints

Desirable Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

We operate an on-call roster in Technology to provide 24/7/365 support to respond to operational service requirements. This post may be part of an on-call roster and the postholder would be required to participate in an on-call roster where in operation. GOLD
