I am currently on the lookout for an Interim Cancer Performance and Improvement Manager to work on behalf of a Trust in the South East of England.

Start date: ASAP
Banding: 8B
Contract Length: 3 months, with a view to extend
Working arrangements: 3 days on site / 2 days remote
IR35: Inside
Working week: 37.5 hour per week
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POST:The post holder will be responsible for performance management, service improvement, business development, strategy and non-clinical management input for cancer-related services across the trust with particular emphasis on close working with the Professional Heads of Service and SDU leads to develop relationships with all stakeholders and improve QualityThe post-holder will assist the Trust Cancer Lead Clinician, Divisional Director(s), SDU Leads, and Nursing Leads by providing efficient and effective operational and general service management to services providing cancer related activities, ensuring that services are responsive, innovative and provided to the highest possible clinical and performance standards. He/she will also take forward projects to improve cancer service delivery and patient experience in key areas.The post-holder will need to problem-solve as appropriate, and develop and implement lasting solutions in conjunction with clinical and managerial colleagues. He/she will also be a key member of the Divisional Management Team, taking full responsibility for actions and for keeping other team members fully informed at all times.
