They are committed to innovation and the continual pursuit of improvement, and with a brand holding over 100 years of service they are now developing their technology capabilities, venturing into new markets and building their customer base further.On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a IT Project Manager for a 12 Months contract based in Derby.Purpose of the Role:The Project Manager initiates and manages one or more projects as part of the EMT IT Programme. Work collaboratively with the Solution Manager, other Project Managers, Business Stakeholders, IT vendors and the Business Readiness Team to ensure successful project delivery for cost, schedule, scope and benefits. As a IT Project Manager you will be responsible for:Initiating projects working with the IT BA and SA to complete the scope definition, business benefits case, high level requirements, IT scheme, and other articles as required.Providing regular updates to Communication for the Solution Manager, and other stakeholders.Provide Financial data on a weekly basis to track progress of the project. To be captured in the Clarizen tool.Providing project oversight identifying gaps and facilitating effective communication channels and escalation paths for project leads, team members and stakeholdersProviding visibility to the team of the documentation required to pass the quality gates and ensuring compliance with the Engineering & Manufacturing project delivery process.Ensuring that projects are formally closed with all project documentation stored appropriatelyEnsuring project lessons learned are conducted and actionedWhat we require from the candidate:Project Management methods - planning, risk and issue management, etcFinancial management and commercial awarenessVendor management and procurement expertiseTeam management, communications skillsClarizen - finance reporting tool Budget managing people, purchase orders with supplierPrince 2 qualification or experience Key Relationships:PLM Project Technical LeadsBusiness Implementation leadsPLM Consultancy GroupTechnical Authorities from other BusinessesCIOPurchasingIf you are interested in applying for this position and meet the criteria outlined above, please click the link to apply and we will contact you with an update in due course.Please note that due to recent changes in Off Payroll (IR35) legislation, our client only operates with contractors that operate via a PAYE or Umbrella model.
