Application Support Analyst

£25k - £30k DOE + Benefits + Profit Share

Manchester - M22 Area (nr Airport)

Hybrid Working - 3 Days Office, 2 Days WFH per week

As a trusted recruitment partner to this global logistics and supply chain group, we have been asked to assist in the hire of a permanent Application Support Analyst to support, review, design and implement business system changes. You will work closely with operational teams to enhance system deliverables and client experience.

In this brand-new role within the IT Team, you will be pivotal to the ongoing transformation of the internal and external technical and operational service offering. You will work predominantly with the enterprise transport management system CargoWise.

Technical Knowledge / Experience Required

*T-SQL Programming and Microsoft SQL Server

*Developing SQL Scripts / Stored Procedures to validate and process data

*Develop message sets and message flows based on the XML and EDIFACT for various interfaces

*Ideally exposure to logistics and supply chain operations or industry knowledge

*Whilst training will be given, prior experience with CargoWise Software would be very beneficial

Role Overview

*Support and develop the core enterprise transport management system (CargoWise)

*Work with the Systems Integration Manager to support new/existing software solutions

*Provide support on IT Projects and to business units

*Liaise with internal colleagues to understand departmental and organisational needs

*Investigate, diagnose and resolve system faults and technical issues

*Identify development opportunities and implement / test approved recommendations

*Support staff and teams during change deployments, helping to resolve issues

*Create / deliver BI Reporting using Tableau and Power BI

Hybrid Working: You will be required to work a minimum of three days per week from their Manchester office (located in Greater Manchester (M22 Postcode), close to Manchester Airport). The remaining two days can be worked remotely from home, or in the office depending on your preference.

Package: Alongside a base salary of up to £30k, you can expect to receive a yearly profit share payment, 20-25 days holiday (depending on service), Life Insurance (4 x Salary), Pension Scheme (5% to 8% depending on service), Income Protection (up to 75% of Salary), and after 5 years of service Private Health Care.
