Risk .NET Developer

International Banking Group - EC2Y / Moorgate

to £733.13pd to Umbrella (Inside IR35)*

Initial 6 Month Contract, Hybrid Working Model**

As an award-winning and preferred recruitment partner to one of the world's most trusted banking groups for more than ten years, we have been asked to assist in the hire of a .NET Developer to join them on an initial six-month contract in the Credit Risk Analytics Team who are responsible for Middle Office Risk Systems in the organisation.

Key responsibilities will include extending credit risk calculators, upgrading legacy codebase to .NET core, performance tuning and performing rigorous testing of the codebase.

Experience Required (Not all essential)

-Strong C#, .NET Core, MS SQL Server Skills

-Experience Building .NET Core Web APIs

-Docker, Python, Git / Subversion / Jira, Azure Data Lake, TeamCity, Visual Studio

-Batch Scheduling (ideally with Control-M)

-Investment Banking Experience

-Testing: Unit Testing, Integration Testing

-Microservices Architecture

-Prior Credit Risk / Market Risk Experience

-Prior Middle Office or Front Office Risk Experience

-IHS Markit Financial Risk Analytics (or any comparable risk/pricing platform) desirable

-Microsoft HPC Grid Computing Experience

*Inside IR35 (PAYE Umbrella): This contract is offered on a PAYE basis (via an umbrella company). The day rate is budgeted up to £733.13pd and this is the total amount we would pay your nominated umbrella. It is inclusive of holiday accrual and employer pension contributions. All statutory deductions (both Employers and Employee NI, Income Tax, Apprenticeship Levy, etc.) will be deducted from this figure.

**Hybrid Working: Our client has a hybrid working model. You will be expected to spend two days a week on-site in their London EMEA HQ near Moorgate Tube. The remainder can be spent working remotely from home, or if preferred in the office.
