Senior Business Analyst - c£500 Per Day - Divestiture / ITAn excellent opportunity has arisen with a market leading insurance company to help deliver a divestiture programme, responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of business solutions.
Role and Responsibilities:
Divestiture: working in a complex setup. Will be required to work with systems and communicate with both technical teams and the business. Responsibility of the post separation environmentResilience project - mock up scenarios of disasters and demonstrate operational resilienceLiaise with application owners in the business to prioritise disaster recoveriesAnalyses data using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data miningWorks directly with clients and project and business leaders to identify analytical requirementsRepresent the business, and their processes, at design meetingsUnderstand business processes and perform needs analysis alongside the Product Owner to support requirements gatheringSupport Product Owners in the development and creation of business stories within the Agile frameworkReview specifications and requirements to identify gaps in completeness and accuracyAssist with producing IT estimatesAssess the impact of proposed changes on both business processes and systems
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in area of specialty and extensive experience in the field or in a related areaExperienced with the full development lifecycle for a significant change programExperience working in a regulated, complex multinational environments preferable regulated. Communication - Able to communicate confidently and clearly, both orally and verbally, generating a buzz about delivering excellent service.Goal Orientation - Continually thinks about and works towards the agreed objectives whatever the circumstances. Self-motivated and persistent in ensuring that adherence to the required vision is achieved.Analytical - Enjoys working with statistics, identifying trends and patters. Good attention to detailDecision Making/Problem Solving - Makes effective decisions taking into account the needs of the situation, priorities, timing, constraints and the availability of necessary information
