Design Engineer/Estimator (Training to become a Design Manager)

£40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus + Progression + Training + Autonomy

Are you Design Engineer/Estimator for a home automation background or similar background?

Are you looking to progress your career into a managerial role? Do you want to have full autonomy over a team of engineers?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity for a Design Engineer to be trained as a manager where you will have full responsibility to grow and mould your own teams as you become a pivotal part of this company's success.

In this role you will be responsible for all design and estimating functions of the business for all the commercial and residential projects. You will be given autonomy over the moulding of the Design and Estimating teams by providing research and insight on the tools the team uses and also ensuring the teams are working to high standards. You will be responsible for the human resources of the teams and continuously growing and moulding the teams.

The ideal candidate for this role is somebody who has experience as a Design Engineer or Estimator from the Home Automation/CCTV/Networking or similar background who is looking for a step up into a management role that gives you full autonomy and the opportunity to put your own mark on a prestigious company that are leaders in their field.
