IC Resources is working with a client based in Cambridge who are seeking an Electronics engineer to join their team as soon as possible. You will work within Operations to develop and implement an effective strategy to source and validate second source electronic components, and identify and implement opportunities to value-engineer existing PCB assemblies for high-volume products.Onsite 3 days a week, 2 days remote Inside IR35Ongoing contract till next yearExperience needed: Ideally a qualified Electronics Engineer with at least 5 years’ experience and previous experience in embedded systems for high-volume electronics Awareness of cost, reliability, product compliance EN 60335 or similar and manufacturing/assembly/testing techniques Experience liaising with electronic contract manufacturers
