It's an exciting time to join the IT team as we're transforming our data and tech team. As Junior DevOps Engineer, you will assisting the team in translating business needs into technology / functional designs and delivering/developing a common supportable Azure architecture that conforms to known successful patterns, and that support evolution toward the future-state architecture.

The graduate programme will consist of a two year placement within the Brit IT operations team.  The scheme will develop a rounded knowledge of the skills required to build a successful career within IT.

The scheme will also provide an overview and exposure to other departments within Brit, which will lead to a good understanding of the business.

About the Graduate Programme

The Brit Graduate Programme runs for two years from 26 September 2022. During that time you'll have the opportunity to work in a number of different departments and projects in your chosen function to broaden your experience, build relationships with colleagues and learn from our experts in the market. 

You'll network with other graduates on the programme and colleagues, receive support in attaining a professional qualification in your business area, and you'll have a mentor to support you in achieving your personal development goals throughout.

During your first week you'll follow an enhanced induction programme. This helps you create your best first impression - and brings you up to speed with the basics of the insurance market. After that, you'll be working as part of a team, gaining valuable hands-on experience in your chosen career path.

Be eligible to work in the UK

Be able to start employment on 26th September 2022

Have Graduated in 2021 or are on track to graduate in 2022

Have achieved (or are on track to achieve) our minimum academic requirements:

Minimum grade B GCSE Maths and minimum grade B GCSE English Language or equivalent

Minimum of 120 UCAS points at A2 level (excluding General Studies)

Minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline (a numerate degree is highly desirable)
