Data Scientist - London - £70,000 Role Overview:

Analyse data on potential investment targets using traditional and alternative data sources to find insights on the companies.Use the company's internal analytics platform, create custom visualisations and scripts to evaluate company performance independently.Use existing and external data sources to discover potential investment targets.Evaluate potential acquisitions of external data sources and the value they may add to the analysis.Prototype potential new models and features to present to establish viability and establish value for the deal team.Write custom web crawlers to extract data from public facing websites.Create reusable visualisations and algorithms for our internal analytics library.Help to design data ingestion pipelines for large datasets as well as their processing and storage.

What are we looking for?

STEM degree with an analytics component1-2 years of experience working with Python in a professional capacity.Excellent communication skillsKnowledge of programming, scripting languages or statistical analysis tools: Python, R, Matlab, SPSS, Stata, or any Object-Oriented Language or statistical package.Experience in data visualisation techniques, using Excel, Tableau, PowerBI or any other tools.Advanced Excel knowledge
