One of our clients are looking for a Junior PMO support to join them on a contract basis.
Inside IR35
SC clearance required
Remote with adhoc travel to Corsham, Bristol and London
Until the end of March 23 initially
Activities:
1.Change Control Support
*Day to day maintenance of Change Control log.
*Collation & suitable storage of documentation and evidence to support individual Change Requests.
*Proactive management of in-flight Change Requests.
*Provide side-of-desk support to PMs team to ensure process is understood and adopted correctly.
*Scheduling Impact Assessment sessions and collecting updates.
2.LfE Support
*Day to day maintenance of LfE log.
*Support periodic lesson capture sessions with PMs/ team.
*Provide side-of-desk support to PMs/ team to ensure process is understood and adopted correctly.
*Analysis of Lessons Identified and documentation of findings.
*Support in presenting findings/ feedback to Programme.
*Creation and maintenance of Action Log to track progress against agreed actions.
3.Reporting
*Support to Theme Boards, including maintenance of action log and minute taking (as required).
*Support in creation and maintenance of dashboard/ visuals.
*Support monthly reporting process - collating information from PMs/ PMO/ Corporate Tools.
4.Commitment Case Tracker (once process fully established)
*Day-to-day maintenance of tracker.
*Provide side-of-desk support to PMs/ team to ensure process is understood and adopted correctly and cases are documented correctly.
5.Onboarding/ Request Management (hand-over from PMO Analyst)
*Day-to-day management of new account/ laptop, S account and site pass requests via tracker and joint mailbox (pending set up).
6.General
*General support to PMO including, but not limited to:
oFacilitation of ad-hoc meetings/reviews (deep dives, etc.).
oRaising and tracking requests
oAssisting with general queries from team.
oMinute taking and action tracking in meetings.
Skills - Essential
*Basic understanding of project management.
*Basic understanding of PMO function.
*Advanced Excel skills - VBA not mandatory, but ability to create structured tables and use common formula/ perform basic functions.
*Strong stakeholder management skills.
*Confident communication skills - ability to engage with client/ client teams without supervision.
*Basic data management & cleansing.
*PowerBI knowledge and/or willingness to learn.
*Good Reporting experience.
*Ability to proactively deliver tasks to deadlines.
Skills - Desirable
*Understanding of PMO functions such as RAIDO, Planning & Scheduling, Reporting, etc.
*PowerApp knowledge.
*M/ DAX/ VBA coding knowledge in relation to PBI.
*Cyber experience.
