Front-End Developer - 5 Months - Outside IR35 £350-£400 - Hybrid 1 Day Onsite

My client is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Front-end Developer, who can help us transform our major clients. You must be passionate about technology and developing IT system, utilising XP, and agile practices. You must be open-minded and willing to learn new technologies.

What you'll do within our teams:
  • Contribute to both technical and ways of working discussions to help to deliver the right solution and to promote a culture of continuous improvement in your team.
  • Use TDD and pair programming with other members of your team to deliver well-designed and tested code.
  • Communicate with both technical and non-technical people by changing your language appropriately.
  • Contribute to the elaboration and upkeeping of user stories and technical tasks
  • Contribute towards promoting an environment of collaboration, in which values like t-shaping are treasured.
  • Review your colleague's work in a positively and constructive manner
  • Mentor junior team members
  • Act as an ambassador for my client by promoting and leading by example on the way we believe software development should be approached.
You'll suit this role if you have:
  • Knowledge and experience of designing and implementing applications using web-based technologies.
  • Knowledge of and experience working with JavaScript/Typescript (ES5)
  • Knowledge and experience working with build tools.
  • Knowledge and experience working with templating frameworks
  • Knowledge and experience working with semantic HTML
  • Knowledge and experience working with CSS and CSS frameworks
  • Knowledge and experience of testing and ensuring applications conform to accessibly standards.
  • Experience with version control tools
  • Solid understanding of RESTful Architectures with JSON and XML message formats
  • Solid understanding of unit testing and at least, one of the most common JavaScript testing libraries like Jest, Jasmine, Mocha, Cypress etc.
  • Solid understanding on mocking frameworks
  • Understanding of how to develop software using TDD and its benefits
  • Experience with continuous integration
  • An agile mindset
