QA Test Engineer Poole / WfH 6 month contract to £500 p/day

QA Test Engineer Manual / Python Automation (Embedded IoT CI/CD) *6 months £500 outside IR35*. Technology company that's complex software solutions enable things such as tap-in / tap-out services on London transport is seeking a highly skilled QA Test Engineer with a range of testing experience.

As a QA Test Engineer you'll use a range of manual and automation testing to ensure the quality of microservices applications for embedded / IoT applications (primarily Android and written in C#) as well as managing CI/CD pipelines. You'll be joining a small, collaborative Agile Scrum team and partnering with the Devices Lead to ensure technical standards are upheld and to make continual improvements.

There's a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home, the office is based in Poole, you will need to be able to visit once or twice a month to pick up equipment - please note this is a 6 month fixed term contract.

Requirements:

You have experience with both manual and automated testing, ideally on embedded devices / IoT

You can code with Python to write automated tests, ideally you will also have used Robot test framework but you can pick this up

You're able to manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins / Artifactory

You have experience with unit and code coverage tools such as NUnit, SonarCube, AltCover

You have Agile team experience and a good understanding of TDD / BDD
