An exciting opportunity has become available for a Motor Control Systems Engineer to join an established organisation in the city of Edinburgh. The Motor Control Systems Engineer will be joining a team responsible for the research and implementation of Motor control Systems for drives used in automotive applications. The main responsibilities of the Motor Control Systems Engineer will be to innovate, design, test and analyse to maintain that their technology is the best in the marketplace. Other aspects of the role include devise and evaluate control algorithms and methods including PWM strategies, senseless strategies and power device driving as well as Simulink and Matlab models of the motor control systems. The successful candidate will have a degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering and a proven background in the following:PWM strategies.C programming.VHDL programmingInverters for electric motors.Control algorithms for motor drives.If interested, please apply with an up to date CV and contact details alongside your availability for a call.
