DevOps Engineer - Glasgow - Permanent

I am working with a leading financial services client based in the heart of Glasgow. They are currently looking to recruit a Devops Engineer to join them during a period of growth to work on new and exciting projects. This is a permanent opportunity and will operate on a hybrid working model.As a Devops Engineer you will help leverage some existing digital app capability whilst focusing on building brand new customer-facing digital features, with the user interface fully designed, built, and owned in-house. You will be a key member within one of multiple agile feature teams, implementing automated CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practice across the full tech stack. Main duties:Developing automated and robust software delivery pipelines suitable for a regulated industryProducing and maintaining scripts for automationFacilitating changes through the development and maintenance of Infrastructure as CodeEnsuring SonarQube is in use across all application components and actively monitor its output to ensure high code quality across the development teamEnsuring Veracode is in use across all application components and actively monitor its output to ensure there are no cyber security vulnerabilitiesExperience required:Hands-on experience with AWS CloudFormation, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Chef and Linux (command line)Experience in DevOpsProven scripting abilities with Bash, Groovy, Python or equivalentExcellent communication and collaboration skillsA proven agile mindset is keyA passionate technologist and keen to use the latest tools and techniques to automate To discuss this role in more detail, please apply in the first instance with your current CV.SThree are committed to ensuring equal opportunities, fairness of treatment, dignity, work-life balance and the elimination of all forms of discrimination in the workplace for all staff and job applicants.
