Cyber Security Engineer / DevOps London / WfH

Cyber Security Engineer / DevOps (Python SIEM Splunk) *Hybrid WfH*. Would you like to work on complex and challenging systems, continually learning and progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role?

You could be joining a technology driven Hedge Fund (£35 billion under management).

As a Cyber Security Engineer / DevOps you will be responsible for developing automated solutions to improve the company's security capabilities; you'll collaborate with software engineering teams to provide guidance on how to design and build security into their applications and challenge the status-quo; extending, managing and developing the reactive and proactive monitoring and alerting security infrastructure. You'll promote best practice and foster a culture of collaboration.

There's a remote interview process and the ability to work from home for 2-3 days a week, the rest of the week you'll join colleagues in the Central London or Wimbledon office.

Requirements:

You have experience in a similar Cyber Security related position

You're an advocate of automation and DevOps practices

You have strong Python coding / scripting skills

You have experience of working with a SIEM (Splunk preferred)

You have a good understanding of networking, IT infrastructure, Cloud technologies and the software development lifecycle from a security perspective

You have strong analysis and problem solving skills

You're collaborative and pragmatic
