Senior Embedded Software Engineer now needed in Bristol (free parking) to join a growing design services company. Ideal Embedded Engineers will be hard-working, knowledgeable, driven, and able to work alongside the wider teams, to ensure multiple projects are delivered both on-time and within budget. The Senior Embedded Software Engineer should ideally have 5yrs+ embedded C / baremetal development expertise with good hardware appreciation and knowledge of some of the following:Embedded linux / device driver developmentMicroprocessor peripheral driver development, especially for serial communications (i.e., UART, I2C, SPI)Developing OTA comms protocols (i.e., Command Interfaces, Bootloaders)software version control methodsIt would also be beneficial to have some additional experience in the following areas:
