A new position has just opened for a Principal Analog IC Design Engineer to join a growing company based in the vibrant Irish capital city of Dublin.
Working with an established team of experienced Analog and Digital IC Designers, you will be designing and developing complex Analog circuits in CMOS such as reference generators, clocks, comparators, amplifiers and data converters for Audio and Power Management applications.
You will be working with chip leads to develop detailed chip level design and layout workflow, verifying chip functionality through simulation and modeling, including co-simulations with digital blocks. You will take responsibility for guiding layout engineers towards tape-out, ensuring circuit performance requirements are met.
Industry degree qualified, the successful Analog IC Design Engineer will ideally have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience designing power management blocks (linear and switching power supplies, DC/DC converters, Buck-Boost, Charge Pumps), high-speed data converters, Audio, or other complex Mixed Signal system designs. Experience in small geometry processes 28nm or smaller is preferred. You will have expertise in system level modeling using tools such as Matlab/Simulink or similar and be familiar with Digital design flows and the use of Analog/Mixed Signal simulation tools such as AMS.
