Java Developer Remote / WfH £95k

Java Developer / Senior Software Engineer *Remote / WfH*. Are you Java technologist seeking a role where you can work with a modern tech stack on Greenfield systems?

You could be joining a FinTech that's Open Banking solutions are helping to transform consumer banking, driving improvements for customers.

As a Java Developer you'll work on development projects in the area of consumer lending such as mortgage calculation systems, the code base is less than six months old and there's Greenfield projects to work on. There's modern tech stack comprised of Java, AWS, microservices, Kafka, Big Data technologies and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.

The company promotes innovation and collaborative ways of working within Agile frameworks, you'll be able to influence technology choices and help set the standards of best practice.

There's a remote interview / onboarding process and the ability to work from home full-time in a "remote first" culture with occasional team meet-ups and socials.

Requirements:

You're a skilled technologist with a strong core Java development skills

You have experience with low latency, high availability, distributed systems development

You have a deep understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, Algorithms

You have experience with some of the following: JVM, Kotlin, Gradle, Jenkins, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Kafka, CockroachDB, Redis

You're collaborative and an advocate of Agile ways of working
