Based in Cambridge, our client is seeking a Senior Analog/RF IC Design Engineer to join an already established and very successful organisation with several offices in multinational locations.
They are developing a new generation of ultra-low power Wi-Fi chips that reach ten times further than conventional Wi-Fi - something that really hasn’t been done before. Hiring is now underway for their new Cambridge design centre.
In this role the Analog/RF IC Design Engineer will be responsible for Analog circuit design that will define the performance of these WiFi chips. As a Senior member of the technical team you will interface with technical implementation teams as well as explaining capabilities to large customers.
Responsibilities include circuit design, verification & modelling, supporting chip qualification and product engineering as well as being involved in de-bug of chip and validation of simulation results against systems design.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Analog IC Design engineer with a minimum of 10 years experience and with strong CMOS experience who has experience taking wireless chips to mass production. You will be an expert with IC design flows from Cadence or Synopsys.
