Lead API Software Engineer - Fully Remote - 130,000-180,000 In this role, you will work with some of the industry's newest technologies around industry leading Cloud Systems. These include Open-Source solutions, including NoSQL and SQL, ElasticSearch and OpenSearch, Terraform, Kubernetes Containers, cloud and software defined networking (SDN), core servers or virtualization, running on Premise and all major public cloud providers (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud). You will be responsible for Architecture and Leading the worldwide Development Team in improving our Solution: API connectors, front end (Angular, React) or Middleware Application (C# .NET, Python) or Backend Integrations with NoSQL, Blob Storage, HDFS and Full Text (OpenSearch). Using your expertise in Enterprise Code and Cloud Systems, you'll help create and maintain quality Applications and Integrations where availability, reliability, and security are threaded through the entire application life cycle. This is a U.S. remote based role.

Responsibilities

* Manage a distributed Team and Report, hands-on Design, develop, document, test, monitor, maintain and operate HTTP services and middleware for the Products deployed in Public Clouds

* Work closely with domain experts to analyze and implement business requirements

* Work closely with application development teams to standardize build, deployment and operational patterns, tooling and shared libraries

* Implement software build and deployment automation

* Lead the Dev team on standardizing Design Patterns, Code and Test Best Practices, Automation, and L3 Escalations

* Work closely with QA team on standardizing unit, performance, scale, user acceptance test plans and automation

* Work closely with DevOps team on standardizing trace, log, dashboards and deployments

Qualifications

* Hands-on Leader by Example.

* 3-5 years as an Enterprise Software Developer.

* 3 years of modern Python or C# .NET competency.

* Ability to implement integration design patterns, especially in a microservices or event-driven architecture.

* Ability and willingness to understand and reverse engineer applications in any programming language (Most common languages are C++, Java, C# .NET).

* Knowledge of source control (Git).

* Performance and Scale and Load balancing methodology knowledge.

* Continuous Integration and Delivery tools and process experience.

* Knowledge of build and deployment automation tooling like Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps (VSTS).

* Azure or AWS Cloud development knowledge.

* Experience with ETL and Archive Software is a plus.
