A senior embedded Software is now available for a Nottingham based company! As their Software Engineer you will be working throughout the Full life-cycle working in a fast-moving engineering environment. This will include Requirements capture, Design, Development, Verification and validation. Primarily the development is in Embedded C for ARM Cortex and Micro-controllers.The company are going through an exciting stage and going through a rapid expansion within the engineering teams and so now is a great time to join and further your career! This is a company where you can further your career and get stuck into technical challenges!!On the job training and support will be provided but you will be expected to work on your own initiative. Salary - Up to £60K Hybrid working - 2/3 Days a week Essential experience / skills and knowledge:Engineering degree or relevant to the role, i.e. some embedded software on Cortex M or similar micro-controllersAbility to architect small software programs and approach software development with a structured approach.Working knowledge of communications protocols (RS232, RS485),Use of IAR Embedded Workbench IDE, Keil, Eclipse, GCC and/or other similar toolsAppreciation of ElectronicsAttention to detail I appreciate you may not have all of the skills listed but if you feel this would be suitable I would be very keen to speak to you!
