Senior Java Developer / Architect London to £110k

Senior Java Developer / Architect (Java Pricing Derivatives MDM) *Hybrid WfH*. Do you have expertise with Java software design and architecture coupled with a good understanding of financial trading instruments? You could be progressing your career in a senior role, working on complex and interesting financial systems as part of a highly skilled, global, software architecture team at a highly successful FinTech. 

As a Senior Java Developer / Architect you will architect and design highly complex, real-time distributed systems in the pricing and financial modelling space. The tech stack is based on Java, FIX, Oracle, Kafka, AMQ with Event Driven Architecture. You'll collaborate with senior engineers and other architects across different business streams to drive best practice, learn and share knowledge.

Following a remote interview / onboarding process you'll be based in the City with an upbeat team environment, casual dress code and a range of facilities including roof terrace and break out areas; there's a great deal of flexibility going forwards (2 days office, flexible start times).

Requirements:

You have strong software architecture and design experience, on complex distributed systems

You have a good knowledge of financial instruments e.g. Derivatives and understand financial modelling, ideally MDM (Master Data Management) experience

You have a software engineering background with a good knowledge of the technologies in the tech stack: Java, CORBA, Kafka, AMQ, Oracle, FIX protocol

You're collaborative and pragmatic with excellent communication skills
