Test LeadModis are currently working in partnership with a market leading service provider to recruit an experienced Test Lead to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an evolving business with ongoing exposure to new technologies. Please note this is a remote role with flexibility required to travel to client sites UK wide. The RoleAs a Test Lead you will support the Test Manager to implement Test strategies for clients. You will oversee all test delivery performed by Test Analysts and provide support and guidance where required. The Responsibilities Support the Test Manager in the implementation and execution of Test StrategiesParticipate in walkthroughs of the application/system design and technical requirementsProvide detailed estimates on allocated test preparation and execution estimatesDefine conditions and test casesWrite detailed test scriptsManage traceability between test cases and requirementsSpecify test data requirements and production of test dataDefine detailed test sets and test run orderManage traceability between tests and defects raisedSupport root cause analysis processes for defects identifiedExecute testing and record defects foundDocument test completion data to Test Manager to support test reporting and test phase closureSupport UAT as requiredOversee all test delivery performed by Test Analysts and provide support and guidance where requiredIdentify and support the implementation of innovative solutions, ensuring approach is documented and shared across the wider practiceKeeping up to date with new technologies and methodologies and sharing this information with the wider team The RequirementsExcel in building trusted relationships and working with clients and programme delivery stakeholders to drive a common goalExperience with driving forward modern (e.g., Agile/ SCRUM/ BDD) and traditional test methodologiesDetailed knowledge of managing and administering a broad range of Test Management tooling (e.g., ALM/ Jira/ DevOps)Broad understanding across different types of testing practices (e.g., Manual, Automation, Performance)Extremely organised and able to manage competing priorities for own and team, driving work activities to deliver against agreed priorities and deadlines, escalating to Test Manager where requiredExcellent team management skills including Performance Management and staff mentoringISTQB Advanced Test Analyst certified preferred (or equivalent)Minimum of ISTQB Test Analyst Foundation certified If you are looking for an exciting new challenge to join a growing and outgoing team please apply now.Modis International Ltd acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers in the UK.
