Overview:Our client is currently looking for a Cyber Security Architect to join their team. This is an and exciting role where you will be responsible for the research, design, and implementation of procedures and systems. Who they are and what do they do: Our client is a market-leading smart grid technology and services company headquartered in Limerick. Through us, large electricity customers actively participate in the electricity market to generate revenue in return for providing valuable services that help support the reliability of the power grid.

Together, Their clients can provide more power to the grid than some of the country's large power stations. These services are delivered via their own custom designed control and communication systems.

Our state-of-the-art systems are designed to provide the fast frequency response services that are needed to facilitate increased integration of renewable energy on the power grid.

The company was recently named the fastest growing technology company in Ireland at the Deloitte Fast 50 Awards in 2019. We are beginning to expand globally, with plans to implement energy system services in a number of other countries. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPlanning, researching, and designing reliable, powerful, and flexible security architectures for all IT projects.Securing IOT devices as well as our Cloud infrastructure.Performing vulnerability testing on the completed infrastructure, including risk analyses and security assessments.Researching the latest security standards, new security systems, and updated authentication protocols.Defining, creating, implementing, and maintaining all needed corporate security policies and procedures, making sure that all employees abide by them.Network security architecture development and definition.
