Java Developer (Kotlin AWS Cloud Microservices Agile). Would you thrive within a well-funded start-up that is experiencing huge success? The company have developed a 24/7 PaaS that allows the digitalisation of physical assets, such as gold, enabling customers to purchase assets and then physically redeem them.

As a Java Developer you'll be joining an Agile tech team of 6 based in Amsterdam consisting of 2 Backend Developers, 1 Front End Developer, 1 DevOps and 1 Team Lead. You'll be working on a highly comprehensive Java and Kotlin based platform, enhancing the product and adding new functionality and services whilst continually improving the availability, security, scalability and robustness. The tech stack includes: Java, Kotlin, AWS, React, Angular, Docker and Kubernetes.

This role is based in Amsterdam. The company is currently fully remote however post Covid you will be required to go into the office 3 days a week.

Requirements:

* Very strong backend Java Developer skills with experience of distributed architecture and Microservices

* Cloud experience (ideally AWS)

* Good understanding of Agile

* Fluent in English

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills

* Keen to work in a start-up environment

* Desirable: Interest in finance
