IOT Test Engineer - Hybrid Working

This opportunity is to join an exciting spin out company from Oxford University. They are looking for an IOT System Test Engineer to join their expanding technical team on a permanent basis. This company has won multiple awards within their industry for their products and is supported by healthy financial investments. The products and solutions that you will be working on will operate on a global scale. You will be working closely with the development team to understand how the IOT solutions work, with components ranging from hardware, firmware to cloud solutions and machine learning algorithms. For this role you will be developing test plans and strategies as well as carrying out tests for all of the various components as well as the entire system. You will be interacting with customers in this role too and can even require helping with training. You will also have access to the technology experts and scientist to help drive the product roadmap. Key Responsibilities:Defining test strategies and plansRunning tests for hardware/firmware/softwareReporting resultsFault finding, logging issuesMonitoringTechnical supportTraining customers Key Experience:Degree or equivalent in relevant practicesExperience in testing, quality assurance or a technical support roleProgramming experience to create automated processes, e.g. testing, scripting or data reporting Desirable:Basic understanding of electronics design / software developmentIOT / Internet of Things solutions experience This role will be hybrid working and will require the IOT System Test Engineer to come on site to occasionally to interact with the team.
