Do you have a background of selling software products and solutions within the Utilities market?

This international organisation are seen as pioneers within their industry; their innovative software provides time and cost-effective solutions for geospatial data management for businesses within the Government, Utilities and Transport markets. They now wish to expand their account management team to facilitate future growth and continue dominating the market.

In this role, the Senior Account Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities through new and existing clients within the Utilities market. You will build and effectively manage a sales pipeline through the use of a CRM system, work closely alongside the marketing team who will be creating demand, and be responsible for writing tenders, proposals for customers and presentations.

The ideal candidate will have a proven background of selling and securing deals for software solutions or products to organisations within the utilities sector. Experience selling data management, GIS or digital transformation software is advantageous.

The Role:

*Consultative selling approach of software products and solutions to organisations in the Utilities market - no cold calling

*Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers

*Create and effectively manage pipeline of sales opportunities

*Work closely with marketing team - close influence on sales

*Write tenders, proposals for customers and presentations

*Remote working

The Person:

*Proven experience of selling software products or solutions within the Utilities sector

*Ideally used to targets around £1M annually

*Excellent experience using CRM system and managing a pipeline

*Eager to learn and develop

*Self-starter attitude
