React Native Engineer - Contract

An ecommerce and retail household name are looking for one of their first React Native Engineers to help them with their latest venture, a greenfield consumer retail audience platform. Providing international coverage of retail trends to huge numbers of customers, they have a wide variety of products within an all-encompassing application that enables interactions on a huge scale. Their exceptional technology teams create high-calibre software, index data and make useful content available for consumers and manufacturers alike.  

Must haves:

3-4 years React Native experience

7+ years total Mobile expertise

Exceptional communication skills

React.js and TypeScript would be a plus

Commercial experience creating customer centric apps

Responsive design for both mobile and desktop

AWS Infrastructure (lambdas, step functions, batch-jobs etc.)

Experience with web technologies (React) and mobile (React Native) would be a plus

CI/CD expertise and Git are a nice to have

Ability to liaise with Stakeholders such as Engineering Managers as well as UX, QA, Product and Delivery Managers 

An understanding of the Spotify model, Squads & Tribes

This React Native Contractor will need to take ownership of a new mobile offering for a household name who are releasing a greenfield audience platform in 2022 - 6-month extendable contract with some office trips in London HQ required
