DV Messaging Architect

We currently have a live job available for a Messaging Architect for a defence client. It is a DV cleared position based in Bracknell on an initial 6 month contract with view to extend.

The correct candidate will work closely with customer to refine and guide system requirements, and develop the solution by producing high and low level designs. The solution will use niche COTS applications for which the Solution Designer will need to investigate capability and configuration options to meet complex customer needs, liaising closely with product vendors.

Mandatory Skills:

*Knowledge of Messaging standards: ACP127, STANAG 4406, X.400, ACP123

*Knowledge of Directory services: AD, X.500, ACP133

*Experience of designing or integrating COTS/MOTS applications for UK MOD.

Desirable Skills:

*Knowledge of commercial email standards, including SMTP and IMAP

*Knowledge of existing or previous messaging systems

*Knowledge of secure messaging applications, e.g. Isode, Boldon James, CMX or Nexor

*Knowledge of web and email PKI/encryption technology, such as TLS and S/MIME
