The Role
Working within the global data consultancy projects team, our client now requires a mid-senior level Technical Business Analyst.  You will be the expert on the global products around data pipelines, requirements feasibility and the lynchpin between the business and the development teams, translating the requirements into outline technical concepts. 
You will also oversee the data integration tasks and be the project point of contact for the business, providing status updates.
The role will work closely with the specialist teams across the group, to help further develop the data landscape and strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage all technical and business questions from the technical and development teams
• Being the key contact for all topics related to any data sources such as Amazon, Facebook, Google etc...
• Participation in the design of existing and new services on our Azure cloud platform
• Analysis of all data interfaces, including data quality, standards and evaluation of technical development options for new data sources
• Coordination of the DevOps team and control / handover of sub-topics in the same area
• Establishing and guaranteeing standards, quality, stability and robustness along the entire data processing chain

The Person
You will a combination of business analyst with strong conceptual knowledge around data processes, ETL, database architecture, APIs, although you don´t need to know especially how to code for this.

Key requirements:

• 3-5 year´s of experience as a technical business analyst, working with data sources and BI / visualisation tool projects
• An understanding of common media data sources, such as Google, Facebook, etc
• A general understanding of ??API developments
• A conceptual understanding of ??data modeling, data lakes, data warehouses, etc
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A high sense of responsibility, working on your own initiative and with a 'hands-on' mentality
• You have a high technical affinity and a very strong analytical mindset, able to tackle problem solving in team efforts
• You are open to innovative topics, bring curiosity and willingness to learn
• Some technical project management experience

The role is hybrid model, although time required in the office will be less rather than more.  Some travel may occasionally be required.  The company offers a great range of benefits, along with a salary of £60-65k pa.
