Are you looking to join an innovative, fast-paced company and lead our hiring function? Reporting to our VP People, FocalPoint is looking for a talented, ambitious technical resourcer who is looking to take the next step in their career.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to lead and own the full recruitment life-cycle and hiring activities on an international scale. From vacancy approval, direct sourcing, supplier engagement, interviewing and extending our local networks; you will have the opportunity to build collaborative working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Building strong relationships, you will be responsible for attracting and hiring FocalPoint's most critical assets - its people!
Key responsabilities
Work with the VP People to drive our hiring strategy and continue to build an international talent pipeline
Be responsible for the full technical recruitment life cycle utilising our ATS platform, Recruitee
Recommend and drive improvements to scale our overall hiring practices which can include upskilling internal stakeholders on their own interview techniques and candidate management to drive consistency in candidate experience
Work with the VP People on all go to market recruitment strategies and candidate generation methods to improve time to hire and cost per hire
Proactively utilise all available social media/hiring platforms for headhunting
Create successful local networks, lead recruitment events and expand our presence within universities
Seek out ways in which we can increase our diversity and inclusion priorities
Own, manage and negotiate recruitment PSL, agency and supplier relationships
Deliver an effective service in relation to pre-interview screening, testing and assessment of suitability
Monitor performance and governance metrics created by the VP People
Job requirements
Your Experience
Essential
A successful track record in hiring technology roles in either working in-house or as part of a recruitment agency
Strong candidate management skills, candidate control skills, negotiation and influencing skills
The confidence to work in partnership with key internal stakeholders
The ability to work with recruitment data to spot trends and issues in processes/recruitment tactics
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A positive approach to problem-solving. Thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment
Competent with recruitment data and metrics
Desirable
Startup/scaleup experience
Experience working in the smartphone, wireless and/or semiconductor industry
International exposure
Commercial awareness, the ability to prioritise workload based on business needs
Experience and/or exposure to the visa sponsorship process
Awareness of all recruitment related compliance and adherence with legislation, including GDPR, eligibility to work within the UK
