We are looking for a passionate and driven IT & Digital Transformation Officer to support the Trust and its staff in the continuation of its IT Roadmap, alongside our Managed Service Provider, whilst integrating Office 365 and other solutions as part of our digital transformation as an organisation.

This permanent role involves:

  • Providing the first point of call assistance to staff seeking help with both hardware (laptops, PCs, tablets and mobile) and software queries (predominantly Office 365) 
  • Promoting the use of Office 365 tools
  • Overseeing the completion of the migration from on-premises servers to cloud 
  • Working with the Facilities Manager and Exec Team to review Microsoft Office 365 deployment to ensure it is fit for purpose going forward 
  • Being the primary contact for our Managed Services Provider and escalate as required 
  • Assisting the Facilities Manager in managing relationships with a wide range of suppliers, including support services and software providers. Where appropriate, this includes management of organisational and contractual KPIs/SLAs 

This role is full-time (35 hours per week) and located at Beechcroft House with hybrid working between home and the office and a need to travel to site offices when required.

  • Experience of providing support to end users
  • Proven work experience within an IT environment 
  • Analytical and goal-oriented 


  • Able to identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes
  • IT qualification (Microsoft Office 365 would be advantageous)
  • Comfortable producing and delivering reports to senior management

  • Able to communicate IT requirements in a way that staff of all technical abilities will understand
  • Supportive, team player who enjoys being part of a busy team
  • Interest in wildlife and conservation
