C# .NET Developer

Are you a C#/.NET Developer who would like to get involved in a long term project to build an in-house suite for a Financial Services company?

My client is a well-established, dynamic and fast-growing FX broker based in Soho. They are looking for an experienced C# Developer to join their small team building in-house products. They are embarking on a long-term project to iteratively replace significant chunks of a vendor system with their own in-house suite. The role will have the scope to be a key decision maker when choosing which technologies to utilise.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience working as a senior C# developer across green and brown-field scenarios with the both the .net and .net core technology stacks.
• Extensive experience working on web applications using ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET core, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript and Angular.
• Design and development of secure and performant RESTful APIs in C#.
• Excellent practical understanding of the SOLID design principles and other software patterns
• Strong unit testing, including test-first methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of distributed, asynchronous event-driven systems.
• Up to date knowledge of continuous integration/delivery methodologies, the creation of build pipelines plus the full development life cycle end to end.
• In depth knowledge of repository management, version control, branching and merging - ideally with GIT.
• Microsoft SQL Server schema creation and optimisation, referential integrity, stored procedures and functions.
• Aptitude for problem solving as well as analytical and strategic thinking.
