Cambridge start Up - Senior OR Principal ASIC Design Engineer Recognised as one of the best Startups of 2021 (although several years old) my client is a fast and growing company combining touch, AI, cloud and edge technologies into its market leading product. They work across a number of industries including consumer electronics, automotive, industrial, and medical markets. I am looking for a Digital/Mixed Signal ASIC Engineer who will be responsible for block-level and chip-level design and verification. You will have ownership from concept to production silicon, including involvement in design specification, architectural development, transistor and top-level design, digital and mixed-signal simulation, layout, review and sign-off. Key skill setBachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering (or similar) to at least 2.1 level, or equivalent practical experienceAt least five years of relevant industry experience or equivalent (or at least three years with PhD degree)Strong digital and mixed signal circuits design skills including:
Analysing system requirements and defining specifications for digital designsDesigning, verifying, and implementing chip-level circuits and performing simulations using state-of-the-art EDA toolsTape-out experience of digital building blocks as part of a system-on-chip.Experience with ARM series processors and peripheralsDeveloping mixed-signal behavioural models for validation of architectural choicesFor more information and a confidential discussion please contact Rachel Mason at IC Resources.
