This client work with many large organisations to design, manufacture and deliver top of the range workwear solutions across Europe.Their brand provides an extensive range of catalogue clothing for sectors including healthcare and hospitality therefore, everything IT is critical to everything they do, and their aim is to provide high quality continuity via a responsive service to their customers supported by a leading-edge IT Infrastructure platform.Proven Experience Required:Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsManaging a Technical Support ticket-based workloadProven and relevant working experience in a Senior Infrastructure or similar role.Management of Windows Server Servers in a large-scale environmentManagement of Network and Server infrastructure in a multi-data centre environmentImplementing Infrastructure management best practices for both on-premises and CloudInfrastructure monitoring and alerting experience using either SolarWinds or SCOMExcellent knowledge of, and experience of, server virtualisation platforms (Hyper-V and VMWare)Implementing security and patching best practices across a wide on-premises and cloud environment using MicrosoftExcellent knowledge of:Microsoft application and desktop delivery solutions (RDS)Server backup tools & methodology (Veeam or Arcserve)Microsoft Exchange (Exchange 2016 and Exchange Online)E-mail, Web and endpoint protection systems and Anti-VirusData Centre infrastructure and best practice.Storage systems, DAS, NAS and SAN (NetApp)Key Role Responsibilities:Implement industry best practice infrastructure management, processes, and procedures in a global environmentActively manage and ensure our platforms are secured and protected to the highest standards across both on-premises and Azure infrastructurePerform regular perimeter and vulnerability scanning across our infrastructure estate with clear remediation plans.Coordinate penetration testing activities, IT audits, risk events, vulnerability management, disaster recovery and business continuity testsWork closely with the Technical Architect to plan and implement the infrastructure roadmap to refresh our existing systems or to transition on-premises platforms onto public or private cloud with clear goals and timelinesProvide infrastructure services to the Application Support and Digital teams to help manage necessary environments that support our ERP and eCommerce environments.Desirable:Knowledge of IT Security Principles (Cyber Essentials, ISO27001 InfoSec or other)Cisco Firewalls and SSL VPN (or other)Meraki AP's, FW's, and SwitchesWLAN management and configurationCisco UCS FlexpodSQL server managementBachelor's degree in computer scienceMicrosoft Technical Training and Certification (MSCE or MCITP)ITIL knowledge or qualification(s)For immediate consideration please call Experis IT now on 0121 712 8715
