Inside IR35As the L&D Manager you will have responsibility for delivering development solutions across the business and contributing to the delivery of the Company's Business and HR Strategy. You will act as a key partner to the functional leadership and management teams and work with external training providers to ensure best practice development solutions are developed in line with the key themes to ensure we are fit for the future.You will design, own and manage the client's Learning strategy and work collaboratively with our Talent and HR Business Partners to ensure that through our development planning process, there is validation of both the training requests and the solutions identified. You will provide coaching and expertise to line managers and individuals on best practice development solutions to drive individual and team performance.An equally important part of this role will see you managing our L&D Co-Ordinator and L&D Undergraduate, supporting their development and ensuring the team has clear responsibilities to enable successful delivery to the business.This is a broad, varied and challenging position and you will need manager level L&D experience to be successful in this role. Below is more of what you can bring to the role.This is what your day might look like:Provide guidance to the business on their development requirements as the subject matter expert.Design and deliver in-house training solutions and workshops that support team development and drive performance improvementIdentify key external training providers in line with the business' requirements with a future lense to ensure courses can be delivered to meet demandEnsure our Learning Management System is fit for purpose to offer all colleagues a seamless experience when using the systemManage our LinkedIn Learning platform through engagement with our Account Manager and maximise reporting capabilityEvaluate and report on the ROI of the programmes delivered across the business to enable effective decision makingManage supplier relationships including compliance with our Legal and Procurement policies when on-boarding and reviewing cost and performance for existing suppliersProvide guidance and support to the L&D Coordinator and L&D Undergraduate through 121's and coaching conversationsOversee our Mentoring scheme to enableReview our induction for new starters to ensure it's relevant, innovative and adds value to the new joiner experience.Manage the L&D budget effectively to maximise opportunities to deliver cost effective and quality solutionsOversee the Compliance and regulatory training for the client to ensure that the organisation adheres to regulatory requirementsCollate L&D reports for our Board of Management and other forums to share key information on all L&D activity This is what you will bring to the role: You will have a broad, generalist understanding of all L&D processes and activities including development planning, requirements gathering, coaching and mentoring, supplier and budget management and internal training deliverySignificant experience of L&D best practice with the ability to bring new ideas alive to implement innovative solutions to identified development requirementsYou will have implemented and/or managed relevant L&D systems such as the Learning Management System and Linked In Learning platform or equivalentYou are preferably BPS Level A&B and MBTI/SDI qualifiedYou can demonstrate success with pro-active stakeholder management at varying levelsYou have the ability to establish and maintain strong and credible working relationships built on trust and the ability to challenge in an environment that encourages you to speak upInfluencing and negotiating skills are key to your success and you are able to share information and build openness and commitmentYou can think strategically and creatively when it comes to problem solving, identifying pragmatic and measured solutions that put employees and managers at the heart of everythingYou can balance workload and priorities even when the goal posts can keep movingProactive, flexible and pragmatic with the ability to react appropriately and effectively, managing both self and others when encountering ambiguity and fluid situationsYou can use your coaching skills, facilitation and consultative techniques for effective, collaborative deliveryAbility to balance short-term operational delivery with medium and long-term strategic thinking and planning; able to operate in the detail whilst also taking a step back to consider the bigger pictureYou can demonstrate high personal standards and commitment to Company values with the self-confidence to follow throughHigh emotional intelligence and a genuine curiosity to understand people; accurately hear and understand partly expressed or unspoken thoughts, feeling or concernsYou are preferably CIPD qualifiedAlthough we have been working from home recently, there will be an expectation to work from the office for 1-2 days per week as soon as it is safe to do soFor more information please APPLY NOW.Fahad McCann
