The CIDO function uses the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to deliver change into the organisation and as such this role maps to the Solution Architect role requiring all the necessary skills to make technical decisions over all domains across the programme level. Whilst collaborating with Enterprise and Systems Architects and the Portfolio and Solution level respectively. This is a key role within the Architecture team, playing a critical role in the Enterprise Solution Delivery (ESD) providing an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in an agile product-based environment, ideally within the SAFe framework.  You will be a significant contributor within a small team of specialist information security architects working on projects and products with high strategic impact.  You will have experience defining and communicating a shared technical and architectural vision across a Solution Train or equivalent in non-SAFe Enterprises; more generally you will act confidently as a direction setter and subject matter expert, engaging positively with key business and technical stakeholders. 
You will be responsible for providing security related architectural direction, expertise and leadership at the Portfolio level.  About You Be highly effective at both written and verbal communication with substantial experience of developing highly effective working relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues at all levels. Have a solid understanding of architecture, associated strategies and frameworks Have well developed interpersonal, analytical, planning and organising skills, an attention to detail, a high level of accuracy and the ability to work on your own initiative Have previous experience in a senior role with a proven record of accomplishment Be educated to degree level or equivalent Have significant relevant security related architecture experience gained in a broad range of assignments. Essential  Skills Professional Security accreditation such as CISSPs or SABSA The ability to identify and triage information security risk Understanding of compliance legislation and regulations such as UK Data Protection Act 2018 / GDPR and PCI DSS, and broader Information Security Laws and Regulation. Be able to articulate common attack Tools, Tactics and Procedures (TTP's) used by likely threats to a UK Financial Services company Significant experience delivering products, tools and services mitigating security risk Experience of Zero Trust Architecture
Highly Desirable Skills Experience of implementing Public Cloud Security Architecture, ideally within AWS (Azure in addition is beneficial). Experience of designing and implementing Database security Experience with the major security tools such as SIEM, EDR, CASB, Firewalls, VPN, Secrets Management, and Pen Testing tooling.
