There is the opportunity to gain Chartership through IStructE or ICE with in house mentors. This well-established company are specialist Structural, Civil and Geotechnical Engineering consultancy based in Sheffield but operating on national projects. They work across a variety of sectors including commercial, residential, education, industrial and healthcare. They have heavily invested back into the business, have very low staff turnover and have recently won an IStructE aware for their design on a local project. Now due to an increase in projects they are looking for CAD Technicians with Structural/Civil backgrounds to join the team. In this role you will be based from the Sheffield office working on projects across the UK. Dependent on your background of Structural design or civil/infrastructure design. You will work on a variety of projects from a range of sectors including education, residential, commercial, industrial and healthcare backgrounds. You will work predominantly with AutoCAD and Revit to create structural layouts and detailing in steel, timber, concrete and RC structures. Infrastructure CAD Techs will work on designs for external works and drainage for large residential schemes. All CAD Techs will work alongside and support the engineers who they will collaborate closely with.
