Mud Engineer Job Description

The Position holder is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to Customers. The MI Drilling Fluids Specialist identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, implements standard work, and manage, risk during service delivery. Successful Position holders are highly experience in inhibitive Water Based Mud & Oil Based Mud, 5 years' experience in North Sea offshore, excellent communicators, enjoy solving problems and able to manage highly pressurized environment Responsibilities Lead the mud engineer duties at the wellsite i.e perform mud checks, make adjustment, reporting, inventory and planning of upcoming tasksEnsure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.Responsible for service delivery execution.Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs.Develop customer contacts to promote company products and services.Ensure company and regulatory standard compliance by implementing the CAT, self-assessments, and wellsite inspections.Participate in Service Quality Meetings with customers and improve performance using action plans.Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.Maintain the required safety training. Qualifications Degree and qualification level.Years of specific experience in drilling fluids for 5 years (4 years can be considered)Experienced in Water Based Mud and Oil Based Mud for Drilling & Abandonment operationsEnglish speakers
