Business Development DirectorPermanent - London Role overview:The role will focus on the Google Marketing Platform (GMP) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)You will sit and work alongside client teams in the agency, connect with our Growth Consultants at Google, and with our consulting practitioners to craft and sell proposals that meet our client's needs. You will be responsible for revenue growth, managing leads, coordinating and qualifying leads with the team. You will be happy selling individually, as well as part of a wider team. You go beyond the role of a traditional Business Development Director as you will have a depth of understanding of GMP and GCP technologies.You will be a strong relationship builder, identifying new opportunities and educating the network about our consulting capabilities. You have a consultative sales approach and an understanding of the digital transformation space. It is critical that you will be able to articulate value, inspire and sell the impact that data and marketing technology can have on transforming a business. As a trusted advisor, you are the person who will collaborate with our client leads. ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, create and drive Google opportunities (tech and consulting) and pipeline across our strategic accountsBuild relationships across both our account teams and the leadership teams within our networkBe the single point of connection from the Agency into our business and represent us in key client meetingsPresent and build on our credentials with best in class examples of our work.Be an evangelist for our proposition and showcase it internally as well as externallyDeliver and maintain accurate forecasting for business planning purposesDevelop an extensive network within our partners and within our groupNurture a strong pipeline of net new opportunities that continually evolveAn ability to qualification and prioritise inbound nett new revenue opportunitiesEngagement of pre-sales resources at the right time via the PMOBecome an expert in our overall offering and that of key technologies within the Google stack.Help develop and drive initiatives to increase our profile within the industry and experts across the Google stack. Essential Skills:Graduate qualification in Marketing, Technology or BusinessPostgraduate degree a plus 10 years plus experience within the Agency or consulting environmentHave hands-on experience crafting proposals for consulting engagementsHave a working understanding of GMP (and GCP a bonus)Ability to strategically navigate organisations and work with cross-functional teamsUp-to-date on Marketing trends in data and tech and interest in data-driven marketingCommercial orientation with some experience/ interest in crafting statements of work and building pricing for service businessComfortable with presenting ideas to senior leaders in team and client meetingsContact Simon: 0203 868 5195 s.portway@frgconsulting
