ERP Project Manager sought for a global Science & Technology client with offices in Glasgow. This will involve working on an ERP migration to SAP so a great opportunity to gain ERP exposure.Client DetailsA global science and technology group of circa 250 businesses with a history going back over 350 years and has been at the forefront of the application and adoption of various medicines. In order to drive business growth they are about to undertake a ERP migration to SAP S4 HANA. This a great opportunity for a Project Manager with experience in delivering IT projects to join a global business and gain experience in delivering an enterprise ERP migration. You will be responsible for overall ERP deployment while working with a delivery partner. DescriptionDeveloping, implementing, and reviewing both strategic and tactical project planning associated with SAP ERP and associated systems implementation.Coordinating and implementing resources, schedule, structure, internal awareness, and operational aspects of SAP deployment across multiple sites. Creating and course correcting long term deployment plans throughout the project to align with changing Business and IT needs.Leading and influencing cross functional team members to execute the strategic deployment plan.Simultaneously managing/supporting several assigned projects and related activities.Coordinate between Implementation partner, Global key users, Local key users, Master data team to manage milestone deliverables & flag for course correction.ProfileProven experience of managing complex IT projects covering business, commercial, and operational areas.Excellent fundamental project management skills: planning, organising, attention to detail, managing competing priorities, analytical and systems thinking. Executes project management skills such as defining project tasks, plans and resource requirements, demonstrating adherence to global PMO practices and templates.Clear communicator with strong ability to influence, lead, and manage a team of diverse stakeholders.Excellent fundamental project management and process improvement skills: planning, organising, attention to detail, managing competing priorities, analytical and systems thinking.Ideally, you will have delivered ERP projects in the past or hold a relevant Project Management qualification.Job OfferOur client pride themselves on employee empowerment and with a diverse portfolio of businesses, offer various career opportunities.
