To support and develop delivery of resilient, reliable, cost-effective ICT systems by following best practice and industry standards.Client DetailsYou have the opportunity to work with a leading global pharmaceutical company as part of their growing Network and Security team.DescriptionNetwork Security Support - Pharmaceutical company Main duties/responsibilities:· Provide Technical implementation and consultancy to support Business Projects· Ensure delivery of high-quality IT operational services. Operating in a compliant manner and with an understanding of standards including GxP and ISO· Escalation point from Service Desk and End User Computing ICT functions.· Ensure that ICT incidents, problems, service and change requests are completed within business agreed Service Level Management Frameworks.· Infrastructure Event Management· Prioritise incidents based on their business impact.· Perform prescribed daily, weekly, monthly and annual technical and security administration tasks.· Investigate, analyse and resolve any network and security issues/concerns.· Notify Information Security and Management of any security related incidents· Proactive monitoring, maintenance and administration of regional ICT systems including Workstations, Group Policy, Servers, Virtual Desktop Environment, Microsoft Active Directory, Backup Systems, Disaster Recovery, Enterprise Storage and Databases.· Perform regular reviews and audits of systems, system logs, security logs and account management to ensure compliance with Policies and SOPs.· Use Problem Management tools and techniques to identify the root cause of problems and select appropriate means of resolution.· Maintain Network inventories and documentation, including maintaining CMDB, System Dependency and EOL/EOS identification.· Monitor resolution of incidents and problems to ensure that Operating Level Agreements (OLA's) are met and escalate to the Senior Technical Support Manager when this is not the case. Tools and equipment used:· Service Management Tool, ServiceNow· Azure and AWS· Palo Alto Firewall and Wildfire· Cisco ASAVPN· Cisco 5000 Nexus, 9000 SDA, DNAC and Stealthwatch· Cisco Meraki· SD-WAN· Cisco Wireless· Monitoring tools, including SolarWinds· Microsoft Office 365· Standard Microsoft Office Applications, Project, Visio· Exposure to VMWare vCenter, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft WindowsProfileNetwork Security Support - Pharmaceutical company Technical qualifications relevant to technical support such as:· Azure and/or AWS Cloud Certifications· CISCO CCNP Certification· Palo Alto PCNSE Skills & Attributes:· Demonstrated experience in Network and Security Administration.· Demonstrable experience of CISCO Networking Technology, including routing, switching, LAN/WAN/WLAN.· Remote Access (Cisco ASA and AnyConnect)· Palo Alto Next Generation Firewall and IPS/IDS Technologies· Network monitoring tools (i.e. NetFlow, SNMP, MIBs, Solarwinds, Cisco Stealthwatch and Wireshark)· Cisco Software Defined Networking including Network Access Control using ISE· Cisco Meraki· SD-WAN· Scripting and Automation· Support and Administration of Cloud and Virtual environments from a Networking perspective· Excellent interpersonal relationship/customer management skills (a willingness to 'go the extra mile' to achieve customer satisfaction).· Strong documentation skills.· Logical/structured approach to problem analysis.· Tenacity and the will to ensure that a problem is resolved using all means at ones disposal.· Highly analytical and customer focused.· Deep technical knowledge of IT solutions, security and networks.· Tenacity and the will to ensure that a problem is resolved using all means at ones disposal andescalating to management if needed.· Ability to communicate technical solutions at all levels.· Good team player.Job OfferNetwork Security Support - Pharmaceutical companyHatfieldPharmaceuticalsOffering a competitive salary and hybrid working pattern
