Security SpecialistManchester / Remote
Up to £650 Inside IR35
Cient is a Global Asset Management company is looking for a talented Security Specialist. Youll be joining the Security team and support the Infrastructure teams by providing security guidance and review of suggested solutions.
Responsibilities:
* All aspects of security architecture and design.
* Security engineering including security tooling selection and implementation.
* Responsible for security related policies/standards including design and build of security related controls.
* External stakeholder management.
Key Skills:
* Security technologies & strategies - secure network design, desktop and server hardening, compliance auditing, remote computing, software development lifecycles, logging & monitoring, assess controls, penetration testing, secure web services
* Information standards and frameworks - ISO27001 / ISO17799
* Security with Windows OS, Azure, M365 and Cloud applications and databases
* Securely implementing a secure application and understand the risk of those controls or processes
* Technical knowledge of on-boarding and integrating solutions with modern cloud authentication protocols and API channels
* Webs apps, services and REST-based Service Architecture and network/web protocols
* Knowledge/use of - LogRhythm / McAfee / Veracode / Symantec / Quest Reporter / TrendMicro / Qualus would be plus!
* Security qualifications - CIA / CISSP would be a plus!
This is an initial 6 month contract inside IR35 with 2/3 days in the office in Manchester, offering up to £650 per day.
