We have an exciting opportunity for a Solutions Developer to join the Technology team.

Contribute to the creation and delivery (DevOps) of software that is used by UKTV's channel operations function. To deliver the systems that service content to UKTV linear and VoD platforms. 

In this role you will get to:

Experience and contribute to the UKTV creative culture, working with a diverse and talented team, delivering innovative cloud native systems that run UKTV's broadcast media supply chain

Have unrivalled access to dedicated technical resources at key partners such as AWS and Datadog. Receive individual tailored training based on your personal objectives delivered directly by the vendors, that build to industry recognised qualifications

Work with best of breed systems and tooling, on a tech stack that has been designed from the ground up to run IaC with best practice principles at its core

We are looking for someone who has:

Hands-on developer who is passionate about developing scalable, highly available application solutions that leverage AWS services for Broadcast Media applications.

Who you are:

Essential:

Solid commercial application development experience (JavaScript/NodeJS)

Hands-on experience developing and deploying business software

Experience with building application against AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, Fargate/EKS etc. 

Experience with continuous integration tools (bitbucket/gitlab/github)

Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Ruby, Perl, etc.)

Hands on familiarity with automated deployment such as AWS, CloudFormation, Terrafor
