Digital Catapult has expanded its audio-visual capabilities in response to a changing workplace environment and new business demands. In order to support these changes and growing demands, we are now looking for an experienced Audio-Visual Engineer who can support the existing infrastructure and team as well as offer a view to continually improving our capabilities.

What we're looking for:

You will have experience in running hybrid, physical and virtual events running over a variety of platforms

Experience of video switching technologies using Crestron, Dante, Dexon and Blackmagic

Have good troubleshooting and correlation skill for fault finding in a complex IP Audio Visual network

Be able to work as an audio-visual point of contact within the company and relay key information back to the IT management team

An in-depth knowledge of new and current changes within the audio-visual events space

Experience of supporting junior members of the team, helping them to grow within their role

What you'll do: 

Oversee the Audio-Visual network within the organisation, not limited to the auditorium, meeting rooms and our online collaboration tools

Run audio visual support for high profile hybrid, virtual and physical events

Mentoring the other members of the AV team upskilling to assist with the running of events

Assist in architectural design and continual improvement of the Audio-Visual capabilities of the company

Maintain and improve existing audio-visual documentation

Ensure we maintain a high quality of service for internal and external events

Maintain good working relations with 3rd party suppliers and serve as the main point of contact
