Prospectus is pleased to be working with Young Lives vs Cancer, a UK wide charity whose mission is to help children and young people with cancer and their families find the strength to face whatever their diagnosis throws at them. They provide tailored support based on what children, young people and their families need which can include providing a safe and welcoming place to stay near hospitals, financial grants and emotional support. They are now seeking a Technology Project Manager to join their dedicated Strategy and Governance Department.

The purpose of this role is to develop the overall programme plan for the end-to-end implementation of new systems (such as I&E CRM, finance systems etc). You will ensure all projects are 'set up to succeed' and build robust requirements based on evidence to ensure the project is meeting identified needs whilst monitoring the programme's budgets and expenditure. You will also manage relationships with third parties, continually identify risks, ensure there are appropriate allocations of resources and effectively manage quality assurance with the overall integrity of the technology roadmap.

To be successful as a Technology Project Manager you will have experience managing complex multiple technology system implementations simultaneously that result in changes to ways of working and culture. You will be comfortable working at speed and with a high volume and diverse range of stakeholders and teams across the organisation. You will work using knowledge and an understanding of a range of different project management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall. With excellent interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills, you will have presence and authority to lead project teams as well as act externally as an ambassador for Young Lives Vs Cancer in procurement and contract negotiations. You will be able to translate business needs and technical requirements between internal teams.
