They are committed to innovation and the continual pursuit of improvement, and with a brand holding over 100 years of service they are now developing their technology capabilities, venturing into new markets and building their customer base further.On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Workday Solutions Consultant for a 12 month contract based remotelyPurpose of the Role:This role will be a senior member of the Global HRIS Team, reporting to the IT Product Owner. The primary purpose of the role will be to ensure that the Workday system operates effectively and efficiently in the relevant areas. They will be expected to work globally with Senior Stakeholders inside the HR & IT function and the wider business community, providing clients with Workday designs, configuration and testing as well as recommending best practice.The role holder will be expected to keep up to date with the Workday solution so that future enhancements can be introduced to the current systems as appropriate. They will be expected to a subject matter expert across the relevant Workday modules offering advice and guidance to all users of the system and in debugging so that the client maintains a high level of service of the HR Systems solutions. This role will require deep analytical skills to be able to determine the root cause of problems and recommend appropriate corrective measures.Every great product needs a great business behind it. Having the right people means we can deliver excellence to our customers and pioneer the power that matters.Key Accountabilities:Participation in Workday HCM Projects and ImplementationsProvide expertise across Workday activities.Serve as an escalation point for critical functional issue resolutionManaging the Workday releases including regression and new functionality testing.Build relationships across the HR teams to develop a good understanding of all process areas and represent the Global HRIS Team professionally with a range of key stakeholders, internal and external.Key Skills & Experience:Extensive experience and knowledge of one or more of the Workday Modules,particular interest in talent acquisition / Time & absence.Educated to degree level or to be able to prove an equivalent level of knowledge and expertise of HR Systems in a business environment.Configuration experience within the relevant Workday modulesAbility to consistently deliver high quality customer service in a professional manner and demonstrated effectiveness when resolving conflict and issues.Ability to probe to obtain deeper, more detailed information in relation to queries.Ability to develop and deliver oral and written communications, which convey complex information in a simple, easily understandable manner.
